Tribute to Monet #12 A Water painting Posted on February 4, 2010 by shanti marie This little painting is an odd size at 7.75 inches square. I will sell this piece at a discount since there may be a bit of a problem framing it. Watercolor on gessoed masonite. 50.00 Share this:RedditMorePinterestFacebookEmailLike this:Like Loading... You absolutley pegged Monet on this one. I especially like the white/light pink highlights at the top and left side and that wonderful bit of purple iridescence on the mid/lower right. Reply ↓
Monet is one of my favorites and I too paint his work – I call them phony Monet’s. Again, love the colors! Reply ↓
This is absolutely stunning! I like how the texture goes against the flow of the water and thus subtly adds depth to it…beautiful! By the way, I’ve linked your blog to mine, I hope that’s ok! Reply ↓
