OK OK so it isn’t spelled right, I couldn’t figure out how to spell it! Agghhh I hate that.. anyway.. this is a small 5 inch by 5 inch mushroom painting I did while at Wild Acres last month and forgot to post it. I finally got time to take a photo of this small gem and get it up loaded.
Its 40.00 and it could be in your home in only a few days.. go to http://www.dailypainters.com and buy it!
This painting is painted with the Zoltan Szabo knife technique. He taught this technique to me during my first session with him. I’ve used it ever sense. Its fun, quick and provides a great line for trees, grass and rocks.
Watercolor on paper 5 by 7….$ 50.00
7.5 by 7.25 45.00 Acrylic on gessoed masonite.
I need to cut up some more painting panels. I run out of them pretty fast. Usually I buy the masonite myself and have someone cut the wood into different sizes. Being thrifty I have had them cut by folks who have trouble figuring out how to cut a straight line. This is why the odd sizes. For instance this piece was to be 8 by 8 but he, (I’ll keep his name anonymous) kept having to cut another bit off here and there. I guess I’m lucky I didn’t end up with a 3 by 3.
This painting is part of my “Monet” series. I like these blues, and greens with the brown and white.
Its very soothing.
I think I’ll paint another with the colors using ( yesterday’s painting) the palette of ancient ritual 126.
I’ve been thinking about buying an Internet card for my laptop, u know so you can go anywhere not just where they have wifi. Are they worth the money? my cell phone is with A T&T so should I buy theirs so I can get a possible discount for bundling my service plans or should I get a different brand because they work better. Any ideas on this folks?

I started this painting a few weeks ago and was stuck at one point so I put it aside. I have a small pile of these paintings where I’m not so sure what to do next. I don’t throw them out because they usually have potential. When I started this painting I didn’t have a plan and just wanted to paint an interior with ladies. now, I realized the women on the right has a lot of attitude and I knew I wanted to include a headband and a cigarette.
Its raining here in SC, a gentle rain which makes you want to read books and eat chocolate.
This painting is one that I started a few weeks ago and wanted to change the small fish on the upper left hand side of the painting. You can go to my painting a week blog to see it as it used to be. http://h20color.wordpress.com
It’s acrylic on masonite and is 24 by 24 ready to be framed. If you would like to buy this painting the price is $400.00 I’ll let it dry tonight and varnish it tomorrow.
I used my daily painting time this afternoon to get this piece finished.
I need to get it moved out of my painting area, it takes up too much space.
This is part of my dog series. I’ve been painting groups of dogs looking out at the skyline for a few months now. I guess you can say its a series. Some things aren’t planned but they can be a lot of fun. I’ve had a bit of fun painting these pups.
Probably its because I like dogs and I “know” their mannerism so its easy for me to see these dogs carrying on a conversation amongst themselves. I can only imagine what they would say. One line that always comes up is…. “do you think we ought to tell him he’s adopted?”
I know I have a sick sense of humor.
have a nice day…
Watercolor on gessoed paper. 55.00 5 by 5 inches This is one of our models from my life drawing session I host on Saturday mornings.I gessoed the surface of some archival mat board and painted on it with watercolor. I drew her as she sat for us for one long pose. I was able to get three drawings and this is one of them. I brought two of them home to to paint. Today I pulled out this small drawing at my Tcal art league open studio and decided it would be my daily painting.
Here is the other rose I painted. Its a simple piece 7″ by 12″ and would look great in many a decor as well as be a great Christmas gift. I will give gift certificates to anyone who would like to have the individual pick out their own painting. It can be difficult to figure out what to buy someone. Everyone has different tastes when it comes to art.
