I love this artist's Ancient Ritual Series because it always seems to me to be so subtle and mysterious. The semi-abstract paintings are so open to interpretation that the viewer can have them fit into a multiplicity of historical periods and real or imagined happenings. The colors are muted, the figures are unrecognizable as individuals, and the viewer can let his or her imagination run free.
