Ripples By Amy Kelm

Ripples

watercolor on paper

This is one of the paintings painted by Amy Kelm, she is a Art student just finishing up her Thesis and I wanted to put up some of her work this week. This is a finger print laid over the top of growth rings of a tree. I think the message is basically how we have devalued nature yet our very existence may depend upon how well we manage our natural resources.

I like the abstract look of this – but there is still structure. Nice painting and great article.
