It only took me three days but I finally got the water Lillie painted. As you can see its pink. I thought the pink would be a good contrast with the green. Should I do a white Water Lillie , it will have more blue in the Lillie pad to bounce off of the yellow centers. I’ll also do a different center, there are so many varieties and there were several that had unique centers. This one had a pod in the center and I found that interesting.
I still have a cough but am feeling much better. I should be on track again with my new paintings every day. Last night was my figure drawing session and I had a terrible time, I don’t know if it’s the drugs I’am taking for congestion or the feeling that my five senses are not on par. Let’s just say I should have stayed home. I couldn’t focus.
