Rough day yestrday. Had too many of lifes daily issues to deal with. Found myself squeezing in a few moments to paint between getting ready to leave and just before bed. Once I was wrapped in a towel after getting out of the shower. Later, just before bed I was painting in my pajamas. Tonight I have a life drawing session and will try to sneek in some painting before I go.

I just wanted to tell you after seeing your paintings and reading your comments of everyday life, I think you’re a beautifully open soul! If I lived near you, I’d love to get to know you. I’m a 65 year old goat, retired middle school teacher, and have longed to learn to paint, but never had the time. Finally 7 years ago one of my daughters gave me an oil paint set and I painted a rooster… still unfinished, but got a nice start…. need to take a class with an artist that will help me grow.
My husband and I are vacationing in Cashiers, NC and I see all this natural beauty and feel a need to try to capture some of it on an easel. We are coming back next summer for 3 months, and I’ll definitely bring my supplies and try to do just that!
